This position is offered in a primarily remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring accessibility to patients. Our work schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts as needed, based on patient appointments and support demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of new clients to define their treatment needs and establish achievable recovery goals.

• Offer urgent crisis intervention and emotional support during patient emergencies related to substance use, ensuring safety and immediate care.

• Deliver educational sessions to clients and their families regarding addiction, treatment options, recovery strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge regarding advancements in addiction treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The mental health counselor will primarily work with clients facing challenges related to substance use disorders, including alcohol, prescription drugs, and illicit substances. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
