The position requires standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts based on the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the specific needs, strengths, and goals of clients seeking substance use disorder treatment, ensuring that each individual receives tailored interventions.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, adapting as necessary to promote recovery.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions that focus on developing coping strategies and enhancing clients' motivation to change their behaviors related to substance use.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.

• Proven experience providing both individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
