Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through virtual consultations, using evidence-based frameworks to guide diagnostics.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by each client, setting measurable goals for therapy.

• Provide consistent therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness strategies to support clients in overcoming personal challenges.

• Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for each client.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions in our EHR system to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals battling anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Your expertise will be vital in addressing various mental health conditions, ensuring that each client receives tailored care that respects their unique backgrounds and cultural contexts. You will also facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment for shared experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as either an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in challenging scenarios.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Grateful Growth Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
