Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' mental health status, including the use of standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals and therapeutic needs, taking into account their history and lifestyle.

• Deliver high-quality individual therapy sessions to adult clients employing proven evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Utilize our teletherapy tools to conduct engaging and effective virtual sessions, using video conferencing software for secure and private interactions.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients as necessary, delivering compassionate support during challenging moments.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay abreast of the latest in mental health treatment techniques and best practices.

Qualifications\n

• Licensure to practice as a Mental Health Counselor, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in the state of New York.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
