This full-time remote position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews to assess clients’ issues, and document their progress from initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Create individualized treatment and recovery plans based on thorough evaluations, tailoring interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities suited to the client’s needs.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment period, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, social workers, and other mental health professionals to coordinate and implement effective intervention strategies.

• Provide follow-up care and maintain continuous communication with psychiatric teams for clients requiring hospitalization or additional support.
\n
• Identify and help mitigate behaviors that hinder the client's recovery process, offering strategies to both clients and their families for facilitating improved mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York.
\n
• Successful completion of the NCE and/or the NCMHCE.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychotherapeutic principles and methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling role, with a focus on managing diverse client needs.

• Familiarity and proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to facilitate accurate and efficient client documentation.

• Experience dealing with complex cases involving underlying physical, emotional health conditions, and substance use disorders.

• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices in therapy and counseling.
