This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while providing essential counseling services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial trauma-informed assessments to gather thorough and comprehensive histories regarding patients' traumatic experiences.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans addressing specific symptoms and focusing on trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic models such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients to process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, guiding patients through acute trauma responses and offering immediate support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to ensure ongoing support outside of therapy sessions.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards regarding patient care and treatment.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team discussions, and training focused on advancements in trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on assisting patients who are survivors of various forms of trauma. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may have experienced single-event traumas as well as complex histories involving prolonged trauma. By employing a trauma-informed lens, you will help clients navigate their emotional landscapes, develop coping mechanisms, and rebuild their lives in the wake of distressing past experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with trauma-related disorders and implementing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of trauma-informed treatment modalities, with a focus on client resilience.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental and compassionate attitude towards clients and colleagues.

• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
