Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and assessments to document clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health from the initial consultation to the conclusion of therapy.

• Create and implement tailored intervention strategies and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups to address their unique challenges.

• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions that promote open communication and healing among participants.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment plan, making adjustments as needed based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to create comprehensive care plans.

• Engage in follow-up communications with clients' psychiatrists and attending physicians to coordinate care, especially for clients requiring hospitalization.

• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder clients' recovery processes while providing support and resources to family members and primary caregivers.

This role revolves around serving a diverse clientele that spans various age groups, backgrounds, and mental health challenges. Clients may present with issues ranging from anxiety, depression, and trauma to complex behavioral conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A successful passing score on the NCE and/or NCMHCE exams.
\n
• Demonstrable experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing a strong foundation in clinical practice.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow.

• Comprehensive understanding of addressing underlying physical and emotional health concerns, including addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
