Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to delineate patients' trauma histories, ensuring tailored treatment plans.

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the promotion of resilience.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Conducting dynamic individual and group therapy sessions designed to guide patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering healing.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for patients.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to ensure immediate support and safety for clients.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, empowering them to participate actively in their healing journeys.

• Maintaining precise, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, contributing to a clear and organized treatment process.

• Participating in case consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance trauma-informed practices and therapeutic effectiveness.

• Staying informed of current research and evolving best practices related to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, which may include a range of complex emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• The ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and technological applications necessary for telehealth.
\n
• Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of your valuable contributions, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
