As a remote position, this role offers the flexibility of working from your home while remaining connected to our team through virtual meetings and collaborative platforms. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, allowing for a structured yet balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use concerns, ensuring the identification of any co-occurring disorders.

• Work with clients to create personalized treatment plans by integrating evidence-based strategies aimed at addressing both mental health and substance use issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to develop essential coping skills, strategies for relapse prevention, and techniques for emotional regulation.

• Engage in coordinated care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic treatment approach, maximizing outcomes for our clients.

• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques and regular substance use monitoring to enhance clients' engagement and commitment to their recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, consistent with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case conferences and team training sessions to share knowledge and best practices in treating co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including anxiety, depression, and substance dependency. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A robust understanding of the interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
