Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews with clients to understand their mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges.

• Document detailed case histories from initial consultations to formulate effective treatment strategies and track progress.
\n
• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans for clients, encompassing therapeutic approaches for individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques grounded in best practices and the latest research.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers to provide comprehensive care.

• Provide follow-up consultations with clients upon hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify and implement strategies to help mitigate behaviors that may hinder the recovery process.

• Assist families and caregivers in addressing mental health challenges and enhancing their support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor at Grey Remedies, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, addiction disorders, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated previous experience as a mental health counselor in clinical settings.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR.
\n
• Understanding of the interplay between physical health conditions, emotional health, and addiction issues.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices is highly preferred.

• Solid knowledge of psychopharmacology and the effects of medication prescribed by healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, complemented by a strong sense of empathy and interpersonal awareness.
