Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you flexibility in your work environment while still being an integral part of our supportive team. You will be part of a dynamic group of mental health professionals who collaborate closely, ensuring the delivery of integrated care to our clients. While our clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, some evening shifts may be required based on our patients' needs, reflecting our commitment to meeting patients where they are.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, tailoring evaluations to each patient's unique situation.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and recovery strategies.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions utilizing approaches such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to foster positive patient engagement.

• Lead group therapy sessions, creating a safe environment for individuals to share experiences and support one another during their recovery journey.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure coordinated and cohesive care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during substance-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about the intricacies of addiction, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their recovery experience.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, safeguarding patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on individuals dealing with substance use disorders, who may also be experiencing co-occurring mental health challenges. You will handle a diverse patient population, ranging from those initiating treatment to individuals in various stages of recovery, providing a holistic approach to mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Nevada is required.

• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is mandatory, with a master's or doctoral degree preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in understanding substance use disorders and the implementation of evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in individual and group therapy settings, specifically within addiction treatment contexts.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting an empathetic and non-judgmental approach toward patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance use treatment environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
