Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote setting, offering flexibility while maintaining a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of additional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of individuals seeking assistance for substance use disorders.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient.

• Provide high-quality individual counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

• Facilitate group therapy sessions designed to foster community support among participants, helping to break the isolation often associated with addiction.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other mental health professionals to create a coordinated and integrated care approach for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention as required, addressing immediate situations related to substance use emergencies with competence and empathy.

• Offer educational sessions to patients and their families about the nature of addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Strong expertise in addressing substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Prior experience providing individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with patients through a non-judgmental, empathetic approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
