Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work environment that can accommodate the varying needs of our patients. While your primary hours will fall between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, some evening shifts may be necessary depending on patient availability and support requirements. You will have access to modern telehealth tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling you to maintain efficient communication and documentation standards while providing care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the specific needs, goals, and backgrounds of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create and execute personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to their unique challenges.

• Provide individual counseling sessions, employing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches to encourage progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, many of whom may also be dealing with co-occurring mental health issues. You will work with a diverse clientele, offering culturally sensitive care and empowering them to navigate the complexities of recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A solid foundation of knowledge regarding substance use disorders and a commitment to utilizing recovery-oriented care principles.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, plus additional bonuses. River Oak Psychiatric Center also offers a sign-on bonus for the right candidate.
