Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the psychological, emotional, and social factors affecting patients, followed by developing tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational groups to help clients navigate common issues, build community connections, and provide support in a group setting.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s health.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and the available treatment options, enhancing their understanding and engagement in their healing journey.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity and continuity of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic strategies with the ability to deliver effective, empathetic care.

• Exceptional skills in conducting mental health assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy in a clinical setting.
