Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify the needs, challenges, and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop tailored treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions, employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to foster patient engagement and empowerment.

• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions, encouraging peer support and shared experiences among participants to enhance their recovery journey.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing substance-related emergencies, ensuring safety and appropriate care.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, the recovery process, and available community resources, fostering a comprehensive support network.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of patient interactions while adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in substance use disorder treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist within the state of California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented care principles.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy in settings focused on addiction treatment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to patient interaction.

• Capacity to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and uphold confidentiality standards.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Ability to collaboratively engage as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting an integrated approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
