Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients across varying locations. Our team embraces innovation and utilizes electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation while ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient schedules and urgent needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patient histories and establish effective treatment pathways.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans, aiming for successful trauma recovery and the development of resilience strategies.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and mental health professionals to provide integrated, holistic care to patients.
\n
• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Deliver educational resources to patients and their families, helping them understand trauma responses and coping strategies.

• Attend regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions aimed at enhancing treatment practices.

• Stay informed on emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously refine therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus primarily on supporting individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your interventions will empower clients to process traumatic events, develop effective coping mechanisms, and work towards meaningful recovery in a compassionate and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience with an emphasis on trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven experience applying trauma-informed treatment strategies.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to a non-judgmental and patient-centered approach.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations effectively and maintain a calm demeanor.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and related technologies.
\n
• Team-oriented mindset, capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years in a clinical role is required, additional experience in trauma therapy settings is preferred. Familiarity with individualized treatment planning and direct experience with group therapy facilitation are advantageous, as these skills will enhance your effectiveness in our trauma-informed practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
