Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ psychological histories, focusing on their trauma experiences.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, promoting trauma recovery and resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients articulate their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and foster an environment of healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated care approach for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, utilizing your skills to assist patients through trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their family members on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and local resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions focusing on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced varying levels of trauma, including survivors of assault, abuse, and other life-altering events. You will be providing therapy to a diverse client base that includes adults and adolescents, each with their own unique challenges related to trauma. Your work will help these individuals develop resilience and empowerment as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Demonstrated experience implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of trust and rapport with a diverse client population.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress clinical situations.
\n
• Familiarity with EHR systems and other computer applications typical in a telehealth setting.

• A collaborative spirit, with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with strong foundational knowledge in trauma therapy, even with lesser experience, are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits\n
