Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify their unique treatment needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to foster trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building interventions.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy settings, assisting clients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and enhancing emotional well-being.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic care for clients, integrating psychiatric support with therapeutic interventions.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering prompt support and resources during trauma-related emergencies.

• Engage clients and their families by providing education on trauma responses, coping strategies, and relevant community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals impacted by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Clients may represent diverse backgrounds, including varying ages, ethnicities, and socio-economic statuses. The center is devoted to providing affirming and culturally competent care, respecting the unique experiences and needs of every individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
