Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate a patient's trauma history and develop customized treatment plans that target their specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients can openly explore their trauma, gain insights, and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Respond to crisis situations with immediate intervention and support, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping strategies, and available mental health resources to empower their journey toward recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
