Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate and document patients' histories and experiences of trauma, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and long-term wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in delivering effective therapeutic interventions to clients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on promoting healing and helping patients process their traumatic experiences.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a diverse group of professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for our patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services in trauma-related emergencies while maintaining a calm and supportive presence.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, ensuring they are informed supporters on their healing journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to comply with all legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Participate in professional development workshops and case consultations to enhance skills and stay current on trauma-informed treatment research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with adult individuals experiencing a variety of trauma-related issues, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients often come from diverse backgrounds and may be dealing with significant emotional distress. By focusing on trauma-informed care, you will help empower clients to overcome their past experiences and develop healthier coping mechanisms moving forward.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and therapies, with specific knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations while providing essential support to clients in crisis.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for effective documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-affected populations is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
