Work Environment\n

This role is based in a fully remote setting, allowing you to effectively engage and interact with patients from the comfort and convenience of your own environment. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team that emphasizes communication and teamwork to ensure seamless patient care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs and ensure comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and identify suitable treatment methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, equipping patients with effective coping strategies to process their trauma and promote healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive the immediate assistance they require.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources to support recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with both legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated on the latest therapeutic research and best practices related to trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Working within our outpatient setting, you will have the unique opportunity to impact the lives of trauma survivors, helping them navigate their recovery journey and fostering resilience. Tailoring your approach to the specific needs of each patient will be essential in maximizing positive therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, focusing on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
