Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to deliver mental health counseling from the comfort of your own space. Regular communication and teamwork with our interdisciplinary staff ensure a collaborative approach to patient care. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be provided with the tools and resources necessary to succeed, including access to telehealth platforms, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to assess their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique situations.

• Meet regularly with patients to listen to their concerns, provide diagnoses for mental or emotional disorders, and collaboratively create effective coping strategies.

• Monitor patient progress through follow-up sessions and adjust treatment plans according to their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Educate patients and staff on coping mechanisms for stress and trauma, facilitating workshops or discussions to support mental health literacy.

• Facilitate referrals and coordinate services with social and medical agencies, ensuring patients have access to comprehensive care and community resources.

• Participate in continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay updated with current therapeutic practices, focusing particularly on techniques effective for trauma recovery.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in our EMR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.

Compensation and Benefits\n
