Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients' trauma history to guide the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the individual needs of your patients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies in a supportive setting.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and additional healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for your patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the immediate safety and well-being of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have faced varying degrees of trauma, including those struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with diverse demographics, ensuring that your therapeutic approaches are culturally sensitive and tailored to the unique experiences of each patient. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional experience delivering trauma-focused therapies, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT, will be highly regarded. Willow Garden Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
