Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Employ therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to enhance patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma, cultivate coping mechanisms, and navigate their recovery journey.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Millennial Counseling Centre, you will work with a diverse range of patients, primarily individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, and other related disorders. Our patient population includes adults and adolescents from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, all seeking guidance and support in their recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
