Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history, guiding the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients' recovery.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a space for healing and growth while teaching coping strategies that promote resilience.
\n
• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care.
\n
• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to enhance understanding and recovery.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records of patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in ongoing case consultations and professional development activities to stay current with trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused interventions.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.
\n
• Calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
• Technological proficiency, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience providing trauma-informed care and understanding the complexities of trauma recovery.

• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
