Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will have a multifaceted role that includes:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate each patient's trauma history and formulate suitable treatment plans.

• Creating and executing individualized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery, encompassing resilience-building practices tailored to each client's unique experiences.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in managing and processing their trauma.

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to explore their experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care for our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional wellness.

• Responding to crisis situations by offering immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, while informing them about accessible community resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality is upheld.

You will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, with a strong understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, approaching all interactions with empathy and professionalism.
