Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand clients' substance abuse history, mental health needs, and personal experiences.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that recognize and target both addiction and underlying psychological conditions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Collaborate actively with fellow counseling professionals, medical staff, and case managers to ensure a cohesive approach to client care and progress tracking.

• Engage with clients' families to foster understanding and support, enhancing the recovery experience through family involvement in treatment sessions.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes that comply with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults facing substance use disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Our clientele often includes individuals transitioning from intensive outpatient or residential programs, as well as those seeking preventive support and early intervention. Each client presents a unique story, and your role will center on leveraging their strengths to foster resilience and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of New Jersey.

• A completed Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related discipline.

• Demonstrable specialized training or experience in substance abuse counseling and addiction treatment methodologies.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices tailored to both substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
