Joyful Journeys Mental Health Services is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselors, including LMFTs, LPCs, and LCSWs, to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this telehealth role, you will provide crucial therapeutic support to individuals navigating various mental health challenges. Work Environment\n

This remote position allows mental health professionals to utilize telehealth technologies in providing exceptional care to patients. Collaborating with a dynamic team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists, you will engage in case consultations and team meetings, thereby enriching your professional experience while ensuring comprehensive patient care. The work schedule primarily falls from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and design personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices.

• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that encourage communal growth and provide tools to manage mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless and coordinated care for patients, promoting holistic treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and appropriate referrals.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with the latest research, attending workshops, and participating in team discussions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities, complemented by the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and providing both individual and group therapy in a virtual format.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathetic patient engagement.

• Capability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.

• Competence in using electronic health records and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Joyful Journeys offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
