Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations using standardized tools and clinical observation to identify clients' mental health needs accurately.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique challenges, ensuring measurable goals are set and tracked throughout the therapy process.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Engage in collaborative treatment efforts by working closely with case managers and psychiatrists, sharing insights and adjustments to care strategies.

• Deliver crisis intervention services via telehealth when clients experience acute mental health crises, ensuring they receive timely support.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives designed to educate the public about mental health issues and promote awareness and acceptance.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Life Vista Counseling Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, reflecting a wide range of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• Current, independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A completed master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology .

• Exceptional communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Cultural competence in working with diverse populations to effectively address and respect varying beliefs and values.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills critical in a remote work setting, ensuring documentation and client follow-up are timely and accurate.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community mental health setting focusing on telehealth services.

• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems to document therapy sessions and manage client progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
