Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and craft individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapy tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy.

• Regularly set therapeutic goals with clients and assess their progress through ongoing evaluations.

• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility and ease of engagement for clients facing mobility or location challenges.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and progress to comply with ethical guidelines and improve treatment continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing various mental health challenges such as trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and relationship issues. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their emotional landscapes and develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or PsyD (Doctor of Psychology).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Strong empathy, a compassionate demeanor, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients from all walks of life.

• Robust organizational and time-management abilities critical for balancing client caseloads efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy and working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those with complex mental health needs, will find that their prior experiences are particularly valuable in this role. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems will also be an advantage.
