Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at New Leaf Counseling Center, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and formulating individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Providing evidence-based therapy through various modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy, to address a spectrum of mental health issues.
\n
• Collaborating with case managers, psychiatrists, and other professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to care that considers all aspects of a client’s treatment.

• Implementing crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress, utilizing your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Participating in community outreach and educational initiatives, promoting mental health awareness, and actively working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold an independent and active license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Possess a master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build robust therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Show cultural competence, effectively engaging with clients and understanding the complexities of their experiences across different socio-economic and cultural contexts.

• Display excellent organizational and time-management abilities to ensure thorough and timely documentation of all client interactions.
