Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting initial assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will encompass a varied demographic, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. You will be expected to provide culturally responsive care, taking into consideration factors such as race, culture, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. Building rapport and establishing trust will be vital in ensuring effective therapy delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of applicable clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
