Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while you engage in meaningful therapeutic work. Your typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST). You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule while ensuring that your clients receive consistent and effective care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions using secure telehealth platforms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs and create personalized treatment plans that promote their mental well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses the psychosocial needs of clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation that aligns with state and federal guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance your therapeutic skills, understanding of mental health conditions, and familiarity with new treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. Many of our clients may also be navigating the complexities of life changes, relationship issues, or grief. As a mental health counselor, you will play a crucial role in empowering clients to develop coping strategies and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a mental health-related field (Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology) is required.

• An active California license as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or equivalent is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in a variety of settings, preferably in remote care.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to facilitate effective communication and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are essential, experience working with diverse populations or specialized training in specific therapeutic approaches (such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care) is highly valued.
