Our practice emphasizes work-life balance, and you will work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, considering severity, duration, and frequency to formulate an effective treatment strategy.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored specifically to mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and evidence-based self-care strategies to empower them in their mental health journey.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes and address any evolving challenges.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that encompasses all aspects of the client's well-being.

• Stay informed on the latest research, techniques, and treatment modalities surrounding mood disorders to enhance treatment delivery and outcomes.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and session notes according to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies that promote best practices in treatment.

• Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system and contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing the stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Your expertise will be vital in guiding clients through their challenges and assisting them in achieving emotional stability and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to interact thoughtfully with psychiatrists and healthcare team members to coordinate care.

• A proven track record of effecting positive changes in clients with mood disorders through skilled therapeutic intervention.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
