Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments and maintain accurate documentation from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health using structured tools and clinical interviews.
\n
• Develop and implement appropriate individualized intervention and recovery plans, considering the unique circumstances of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to foster communication and healing.
\n
• Monitor client progress continually, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
\n
• Manage referrals effectively, connecting clients with necessary external services and resources.
\n
• Educate and support family members and primary caregivers in addressing mental health challenges and improving overall family dynamics.

• Proactively identify and mitigate behaviors that hinder recovery, employing evidence-based strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who face various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counseling Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a track record of successful client outcomes.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms for case documentation.
\n
• Understanding of physical and emotional health conditions, as well as knowledge of addiction disorders and transitions to recovery.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Knowledge of the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Insight into the pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical practitioners and their impact on mental health.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas with clarity and empathy.

• A strong empathetic disposition and exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and facilitate a supportive counseling relationship.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This is a rewarding opportunity offering an annual salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
