Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor individualized treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement specific treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences and develop robust coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate assistance.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma-related responses, developing healthy coping mechanisms, and connecting them with additional community resources.

• Maintain up-to-date and confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage in regular professional development activities, including training in trauma-informed care practices and current research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced trauma, with a particular emphasis on those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. You will help clients of diverse backgrounds and ages, providing tailored interventions designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. You will contribute to their healing processes by facilitating understanding and recovery from trauma.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is required.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills marked by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• A calm and collected approach to high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology.
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
