Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments that consider the intersection of mental health and co-occurring medical conditions to accurately diagnose and plan treatment.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation compliant with all legal and ethical guidelines, using electronic health record systems efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or other relevant mental health professional license in New York State.

• Strong familiarity with patient care practices for those with comorbid medical issues, demonstrating an understanding of various treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with patients remotely.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and upholding ethical standards concerning patient confidentiality.

• Proficient in using telehealth technology and electronic healthcare record systems to facilitate patient care.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in a telehealth setting or outpatient facility.

• Experience in crisis intervention and management, particularly in remote formats.

Compensation and Benefits\n
