Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health status and needs.

• Create personalized treatment plans based on clinically-approved methodologies tailored to individual circumstances.

• Facilitate regular therapeutic sessions, both individually and in group settings, ensuring clients receive the necessary tools and coping strategies to manage their conditions.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment interventions as needed while maintaining comprehensive records in our electronic health record systems.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse range of client populations, including individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. You will engage with clients from varying backgrounds, offering culturally responsive care that respects their unique perspectives and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or a similar professional credential in the state of New York.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
