This role is designed as a remote position, offering you the flexibility of working from home while engaging in virtual therapy sessions and consultations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma experiences, allowing for the identification of suitable treatment paths.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored specifically to each patient's recovery needs, aimed at fostering resilience and personal growth.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including specialized methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, build coping mechanisms, and promote healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for all patients.

• Administer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate assistance and resources.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with both legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy to enhance your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals who are seeking therapeutic support to navigate the complexities of trauma. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting diverse patient backgrounds and experiences. Patients often present with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges stemming from traumatic experiences. Your compassion and commitment to understanding their unique journeys will play a key role in their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred, with a specific focus on trauma therapy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in related computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years’ post-licensure experience is preferred, a background in trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based modalities is particularly valued. Familiarity with community resources for trauma survivors is advantageous, as it will enhance your capacity to support our patients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
