Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and preliminary interviews, documenting each client's case from initial consultation through to treatment completion.

• Design and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans that address the diverse needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster client engagement and progress.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize mental health outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, physicians, and support staff to develop and coordinate comprehensive intervention plans for clients.

• Manage referrals effectively, ensuring clients receive additional services as needed for their holistic well-being.

• Identify and address potential risk factors and behaviors that could impede recovery, offering proactive support to clients and their families.

• Support families and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction disorders. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, providing a broad spectrum of cases that enhance your professional development and expertise in various therapeutic methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor within a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for efficient documentation and case management.

• A comprehensive understanding of various mental health conditions and the psychosocial factors influencing their development.

• Knowledge of best practices in mental health as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong acumen in the implications of prescribed medications and their effects on mental health treatment.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with strong interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
