Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, carefully evaluating the severity and duration of their symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their specific needs, preferences, and clinical goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients' progress toward improved mental health.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to best support client needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.

• Stay informed of the latest developments in mental health research and treatment approaches to continually improve service delivery.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.
