Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify the specific needs, challenges, and strengths of children and adolescents.

• Craft and execute individualized treatment plans that consider the developmental, emotional, and relational aspects of the young clientele.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver effective interventions for issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that equip parents and caregivers with tools and strategies to nurture supportive home environments.

• Collaborate seamlessly with child psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to offer a comprehensive and holistic treatment approach.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support during critical situations involving patients and their families.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their mental health journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education sessions to enhance professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents aged 6 to 18, addressing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral issues. Your role will significantly influence the emotional and psychological development of young individuals, helping them cultivate resilience and coping skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, coupled with a child-centered and compassionate approach.

• Strong aptitude for building rapport with children, adolescents, and their caregivers to foster trust and openness.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
