Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their specific needs and challenges.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate individual developmental needs and family dynamics, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family counseling to effectively address conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, ensuring that caregivers are empowered to support their child's mental health journey.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including child psychiatrists, to create comprehensive care strategies for each patient.

• Offer 24/7 crisis intervention support for emergencies involving young patients, ensuring timely assistance during critical situations.

• Educate families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and resources available in the community.
\n
• Maintain confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively engage in professional development activities, including training sessions on new therapeutic techniques and methodologies.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and adapt care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will support a diverse range of patients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs. Your role is vital in fostering a supportive environment where young individuals feel safe to express themselves and engage in their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Hold a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is strongly preferred, particularly in a child-focused setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment techniques.

• Proficient interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with children and families empathetically and effectively.

• Experience in using EHR systems and various digital tools to enhance care delivery.

• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team context, building rapport and collaboration among peers.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
