This role will focus on providing high-quality telehealth therapy services to children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges and their families. The ideal candidate will bring two years of relevant experience and hold a valid license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to assess the psychological needs of children and adolescents in various situations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that account for the specific emotional, social, and familial contexts of young patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to deliver individual and group therapy, ensuring interventions align with best practices in child mental health.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, working closely with parents and caregivers to foster a supportive home environment that encourages healthy emotional development.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and coordinated care is delivered consistently across treatment modalities.

• Provide crisis intervention services and emotional support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.

• Educate both patients and their families on mental health challenges, available treatments, and pertinent community resources.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records in adherence to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuous learning opportunities to enhance professional skills and stay current with advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on children and adolescents who are dealing with varied mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and conduct disorders. The ideal candidate will be adept at establishing rapport with a diverse range of young clients and their families, utilizing a child-centered approach to foster trust and effective communication within therapy sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, applicable evidence-based treatment methods, and therapeutic frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience offering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor conducive to connecting with young clients and their families.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology necessary to facilitate remote therapy.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting, maintaining open communication and shared goals.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional training or extensive background in child and adolescent therapy are encouraged to apply. Experience with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Play Therapy or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
