Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the psychosocial needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools and observation techniques.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect each patient’s developmental stage, cultural background, and family dynamics, assessing progress through regular follow-ups.

• Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy to address mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, equipping them with strategies to foster a supportive home environment for their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to integrate care, sharing insights and developing comprehensive care pathways for complex cases.

• Respond promptly to crises involving patients, providing immediate support and intervention during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, offering resources and community support to encourage an informed approach to achieving mental wellness.

• Maintain up-to-date confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and professional learning within the clinic.

• Stay informed on latest research, best practices, and treatment modalities in child and adolescent mental health to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. Our work addresses various conditions including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and behavioral concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• Thorough understanding of therapeutic techniques and best practices engaging child and adolescent mental health disorders.

• Experience executing individual and family therapy sessions with this age group, demonstrating a deep understanding of developmental needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate approach tailored to children and their families.
