Insightful Journeys Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to become an integral part of our remote outpatient team based in Chandler, Arizona. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the specific needs of children and adolescents experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that take into account each patient’s developmental stage, family background, and unique circumstances.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family sessions, and group therapy, to effectively address an array of mental health concerns.
\n
• Engage in family therapy to facilitate communication and goal-setting with parents and caregivers, helping to build a protective and nurturing environment for the youth.
\n
• Integrate closely with our team of child psychiatrists and other professionals to provide coordinated and holistic patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies involving patients, ensuring safety and access to immediate care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment approaches, and local resources available to assist in their mental health journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring compliance at all times.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through case consultations, attending webinars, and staying current with the latest research in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse population of children and adolescents, aged 5-18, dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and developmental challenges. This role requires a sensitive approach to engage with both the patients and their families to establish trust and foster a supportive therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.
\n
• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy to young individuals.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, paired with a compassionate, child-centered treatment philosophy.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to cultivate rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance therapeutic outcomes and streamline administrative processes.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices.
\n
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, along with performance-based bonuses to recognize your contributions to our team. New hires will also receive a sign-on bonus upon commencement of employment.
