Silver Lining Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic child and adolescent psychiatry team. The role is based in Gilbert, Arizona, and allows for flexibility as it is primarily remote, with occasional duties conducted in an outpatient office setting. Our therapists play a key role in delivering specialized mental health care, addressing diverse concerns affecting our young patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment.

Work Environment\n

This role offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges facing children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and methods to ensure comprehensive evaluations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient, using a blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to their needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy and family sessions, to help patients navigate their mental health challenges while engaging families in the treatment process.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a seamless approach that addresses all aspects of a young person's mental health.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing support and stabilization for patients in acute distress or mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues and available resources, fostering understanding and empowerment within the community.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information.

• Actively engage in continuous professional development, participating in case consultations, team meetings, and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatric care.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment, integrating new knowledge into practice to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents facing a diverse array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral disorders. Our therapists take a compassionate approach, creating a safe space for young patients to express their thoughts and feelings while developing effective coping strategies to lead healthier lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure in Arizona as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarization with various evidence-based treatment methods and family therapy techniques.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to children and adolescents, with solid skills in engaging families in the therapeutic process.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with young clients and their families.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies essential for documenting and tracking patient progress.

• Desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, recognizing that integrated care leads to the best patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, ideally in settings specifically focused on child and adolescent mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, our therapists can earn performance-based bonuses and will receive a sign-on bonus upon joining our team. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
