Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the unique needs and challenges of each child or adolescent you treat.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to address various mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with our child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention for children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring safety and stability during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, effective treatment options, and available community resources that can provide additional support.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of care, treatment plans, and progress notes while ensuring compliance with all ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• Proficient understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities.
