Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and interviews.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s developmental stage.

• Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions to provide support to young clients and foster healthy family dynamics.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists, educators, and mental health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

• Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and external resources to enhance understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to stay aligned with best practices in child and adolescent mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Our patients range from young children to teenagers, and therapists are expected to adapt therapeutic approaches to suit their unique developmental needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license to practice in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on building rapport and establishing trust with young clients and their families.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care efficiency.
\n
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
