Relieve Trauma Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our team in providing high-quality mental health services. Work Environment\n

As a member of our outpatient office, the work setting is entirely remote, with convenient access to all necessary tools and support for providing therapeutic services. Our therapists enjoy a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that values the expertise of each clinician. Flexibility in work hours allows for adjusted scheduling based on client need and therapist availability, primarily operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand patients’ unique histories and formulate personalized treatment plans that outline therapy objectives and measurable progress.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy when delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to empower clients and enhance their coping strategies while creating a sense of community among participants.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care that addresses all aspects of mental health.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization for clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to promote informed decision-making and self-advocacy.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions to remain informed about best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse populations facing mental health challenges, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clients often seek help for conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and substance abuse issues. It is essential to approach each patient with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to fostering their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to create and implement tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.

• Experience providing therapy to variegated populations, with a particular focus on trauma-informed care.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to ensure a strong therapeutic alliance with clients.

• High ethical standards and adherence to professional boundaries in practice.

• Competency in using EHR systems and technology for documentation and client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in outpatient settings with a focus on trauma and mental health recovery.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques beyond CBT and DBT, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Experience leading therapeutic groups and workshops for diverse populations.

• Technical proficiency with telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
